Log 250 is developed by Tailwheel Labs Ltd. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights.

What Data We Collect

Analytics and Crash Data (Firebase)

Log 250 uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google LLC. These services automatically collect:

• Usage events — anonymized records of in-app actions such as adding a log entry, importing or exporting a CSV, running a backup, or making a tip purchase. These events do not include the content of your logbook entries.
• Crash reports — diagnostic information captured when the app crashes, including device model, iOS version, app version, and a stack trace. This data does not include your personal flight data.
• Performance data — general app performance metrics such as app launch time.

This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. For more information on how Google handles this data, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Data You Enter

All flight log entries, aircraft, crew members, and preferences you create in the app are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted to Tailwheel Labs or any third party.

iCloud Backups

If you use the backup feature, encrypted backup files are saved to your personal iCloud Drive. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions. Tailwheel Labs has no access to your iCloud Drive.

NOC Import Credentials

If you configure the NOC import feature, your NOC username and password are stored securely in your device's Keychain. These credentials are transmitted only to the NavBlue NOC server you specify and are never sent to Tailwheel Labs.

What We Do Not Collect

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your location
• Your flight log entries or any personal flight data
• Device advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• Any data for advertising or cross-app tracking purposes

Data Retention

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies (up to 14 months for Analytics). You can request deletion of this data by contacting us.

Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

• Ask what data has been collected about your app usage
• Request deletion of your analytics data
• Opt out of analytics collection (you can do this by not using the app, as there is no in-app analytics toggle)

Children

Log 250 is intended for adult professional pilots and is not directed at children under 13. We do not collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
